Our customer is a three-decade-old IT service provider offering bespoke solutions, including scanning, archiving, and secure shredding through their robust technology platform. It leveraged the capabilities of SharePoint 2019 to create a centralized hub for their users to work together, access shared resources, and communicate seamlessly. However, the users had to manually download documents from SharePoint and email them to relevant stakeholders separately. AgreeYa’s experts suggested development of a custom SharePoint application to automatically download selected multiple files in a Zip folder and email them to different stakeholders directly from the SharePoint 2019 portal. The custom extension is based on SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for Modern UI users, Custom Action in UI ribbon for SharePoint Classic users.
